10 Principles for Improving Integrated Care for Youth

We are excited to share the release of the Pan-Canadian Guidance for Integrated Youth Services: 10 Principles for Improving Integrated Care for Youth and the companion Guidance Development and Engagement Summary.

Pan-Canadian Guidance for Integrated Youth Services: 10 Principles for Improving Integrated Care for Youth

The IYS sector is growing rapidly in Canada. This document is an initial roadmap for setting out a pan-Canadian vision of IYS. It will help implementers (providers, administrators, policymakers, youth and families/caregivers) and supporters of IYS to design, develop and expand the sector.

The 10 Principles of IYS are the foundation of this guidance document, helping implementers and partners ensure the principles come alive as part of IYS work.

This guidance document was co-created by multiple IYS partners across Canada, with the perspectives and voices of young people and their families/caregivers shaping its development. It is intended to be a living document, which will be revised continuously as more voices are integrated and the needs of young people change and evolve
